He is experienced in working with a range of problems, and has worked as a psychologist in both public mental health and in private practice, helping people overcome a range of barriers and difficulties. Randolph has also worked extensively in pain and injury management, including workers compensation.

Randolph can help with a wide range of problem areas and providing mentoring and support to be the best you can be. Randolph is proficient in a range of psychological models, including: Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Pain Management, Preventing relapse of Depression (MBCT), Positive Psychology, as well as mindfulness meditation teaching.

Randolph completed his clinical training at the Australian National University, and continues an association there teaching in the Clinical Psychology program, as well as regularly appearing as a guest lecturer in both the undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology programs. He has also taught extensively at University of Canberra. Randolph has a long history of speaking to community and professional groups and organisations on a range of issues, including chronic pain, depression, anxiety, preventing relapse of depression, mindfulness, positive psychology and managing a range of difficult issues. As well as a passion for teaching and sharing information, Randolph places a high value on continued learning and training as a professional, to make sure clients receive the best evidence-based treatment

Randolph is recognised and registered as a Medicare provider and is also a Member of the Australian Psychological Society, having held positions, including Deputy Chair of the ACT Branch. He is a Psychology Board approved supervisor for psychologists and psychologists in training.

Randolph also delivers engaging and informative public talks and training to professional bodies and community groups. Ash is a psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency and provides treatment under the Better Access scheme allowing clients to access Medicare rebates for services. He has worked with clients across a range of ages and problem areas. Ash enjoys the challenge of helping clients to better understand mental health and not only recover from current hardship but develop greater resilience and adaptability for future challenges. Ash prides himself on being adaptive and flexible in providing evidence-based interventions for the best possible support to his clients. Consequently, Ash is influenced by, and frequently draws from therapeutic approaches including Cognitive -Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, Positive Psychology, and behavioural therapy.

Ashs formal training was completed with the Australian National University, where he also conducted research into empathy, particularly with regard to clinical best practice. Ash conducts presentations on this research to mental health professionals, providing valuable understandings and strategies for psychologists and others working in related fields to more effectively connect with and assist people experiencing difficulties. Ash has also conducted research into Alzheimers disease and dementia, lifestyle factors associated with mental health, and neuroimaging studies. His research has been formally published in academic journals, and less formally on a number of different websites.

Ash possesses a strong commitment not only to clinical best practice, but also to the profession of Psychology. He has been an active member of the ACT branch of the Australian Psychological Society, and a member of the Branch Committee since 2014. In line with Ashs strong commitment to continuing professional development and best practice, he is currently undertaking the Clinical Psychology registrar program, supervised by Randolph Sparks, to gain additional expertise and professional challenges.
